PROHIBITED ITEMS

Policy: Emission Control and Performance Modification Restrictions

To ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations, we strictly prohibit the sale of any products that could compromise vehicle emission control systems or alter performance in a way that bypasses those systems.

Key Prohibitions

  • Emission Defeat Devices: Any item that disables, bypasses, or renders inoperative emission control systems is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • EGR block plates, pipe kits, and electronic control module (ECM) reprogrammers (tuners).
    • Oxygen sensor simulators.
    • Malfunction indicator light (MIL) eliminators.
  • Performance Modification Devices: Any tuner, device, or software that modifies vehicle performance, regardless of whether it directly remaps the ECU/ECM or is labeled as diagnostic, is prohibited.
  • Non-CARB Approved Parts: For California residents, we only sell parts that are:
    • Approved replacement parts.
    • Granted an Executive Order (EO) number by CARB.
    • Intended for race-only vehicles.
  • Airbag Restrictions: Recalled airbags and deployed new or rebuilt airbags/covers are prohibited.
  • Catalytic Converters: Only new catalytic converters meeting EPA aftermarket sale requirements are sold.
  • Used Catalytic Converters: Are prohibited.

Compliance and Caution

  • This policy reflects our commitment to adhering to EPA and CARB regulations.
  • Even if a product might be legally permissible, we may prohibit it as a precautionary measure to ensure full compliance.
